In this video, I explore my experience learning to code while taking CMPT 141, a Computer Science class. The process of coding is a constant cycle of frustration and triumph—lines of logic that either work or fail, demanding patience and persistence.
The chaotic sounds and fragmented visuals reflect my struggles when I can’t find the answers, when error messages pile up, and when logic feels just out of reach. The rhythmic typing and repeated keyboard imagery illustrate my determination to keep going, to troubleshoot, and to problem-solve. Finally, the celebratory moment at the end captures the immense satisfaction of getting it right—the moment when the code finally runs as it should.
This piece is about persistence, the learning curve, and the small but meaningful victories that make the struggle worthwhile.
